This is the storyboard for my final fairytale piece.
i am doing King Arthur.
There are 6 scenes within my future animation and i am hoping for it to last around one minuite possibly a minuite and a half.
i drew stickmen to save time even though it took me all morning.
The set for thos animation will take place within a carboard box.
Vincent critique
I think this animation
could have used stop motion and Claymation because of the movement and the
backgrounds
The story
was about a seven year old boy who was very troubled, and thought he was
someone else, after being grounded couldn’t leave his house.
Yes he did. I found
the clip to be effective, because the narration was very ear catching, because
it was meant to.
I do not think there
were any visible weaknesses, I don’t know how it could be improved I think it
was good enough.
P- the script was very
effective.
N- even being a dark
story I feel the video its self could have been lighter.
P- the visual
animation was very clear and well done. It looks like they have put a lot of
time and effort into the project.
Character biography
Film: Kingdom Of
Heaven
Actor: Orlando Bloom
Character: Bailian of
Ibelin
Quote: “What man is a
man who does not make the world a better place.”
“How can you be in hell when you’re in my
heart?”
Why they’re my
favourite: The dedication to the characters cause was extremely impressive with
the emotion in his eyes through out the film. The way the character was
portrayed by actor was amazing easy to connect to and he made it simple to
understand how he was feeling as you went through the film. Also the characters
heroic personality and pure desire to help humanity and do good anyway possible
was inspiring. The character based on a real historic figure can be hard to
play but Orlando really did Bailian justice and showed how he lived with honour
and valour.
Finest hour: Ending
the battle for Jerusalem and agreeing on the term of surrender for the lives of
his soldiers and civilians.

South park reveiw
The show's style of animation is inspired by paper cut-out cartoons. the standard stop motion technique was used for the show for the pilot episode and few episodes after that until the show was taken to computer animators, giving a similar look and feel to it but only taking a fraction of the time to create. Before it is animated the artists have to draw up the storyboard which still takes a while.
the background is composed of primary shapes and colours, the child characters are the same basic shape but are distinguished by the colour of there hair or hat colour. their movement is choppy and they purposely do not have as much free movement and hand drawn characters to keeep the original south park feel to it. they are all voiced by the same by the same people and guest stars are used as photographic cut outs.
