Final piece evaluation

I pulled two images off of the internet one of Ewan McGregor and another of a saber tooth tiger.
Then I put them into Photoshop I had some trouble with they layering so more use of photoshop is required for next project. then i place the picture of the Saber Tooth on top of the image of Ewan and then fiddled with the trancparancy to make the the saber tooth slowly become visable.

for this project i used photography, internet, cgi, photoshop and premiere.

the most challenging part of this project was figuring out how to work photoshop, because i have never used it in this way before this project. after and hour or to i started to get a hang of it  and then it was rather simple once i had my head in it.

my biggest achievement for this project is problem solving with premiere wen i ran into a problem where i remembered it had to be black and white once i had completely finished, so i looked for a way to fix it with ot having to start again.

i can make the transition look alot smoother.

Evaluations

I.D. Cards for this project i used photography to convert into animation using premiere. my potos where dark because i thought the projecter would add a good effect, but it just darkened the photo to much so you could see the facial expressions which was the basic point of the project. Next time i will check to see if the affect is taking effect before doing the work.

Countdown i used pencil and pen to do the hand drawing the was sent to take photos of my respective number around the college. my number was oplicay inspired because i had to show a facial feature.
everyone in the class had to randomly choose a number i got 8. after i was finished Cam took all of the projects and edited them together into an olympic inspired countdown.

Paper faces for paper faces we used a black backdrop and used different coloured paper to create facial features, while taking pictures every step of te way for extra tracking and taking pictures after every little movement for the stop motion. then imported the pictures into premiere and editing the pictures into a stop motion and then importing the audio.

beads we rented an over hed light, camera and a tripod rom the ERC and drew up a background of a highway toward a city and used beads to show a man walking away rom the city the used a stop motion tehnique and then took music from my phone and imported it it into premire (songs gredits will be at the end of the post) and then added a cedit and title sequence and i was finishe was dissapointed with the ende result though the music was too fast for the video.

Grindin'

This morning our tutor cam showed us a music video called grindin’ by 3 musicians named Nobody Beats The Drum.
I do not know the meaning of this video, although after watching a small video (which I will provide a link to) I know that every single block had to be done one by one in a stop motion technique, so this being a very long and time consuming technique as it is it would have taken long due to the fact that every block had to be measured and painted individually by hand by one of the members of the band.

I myself did not so much like the song but appreciated how it corresponded with the song.
The editing took the creator months maybe even a year at least.
Here is a short four to five minute video about the making of this video, done and produced by the band themselves and a few people who helped produce the animation.

Van Gogh

Van Gogh self portrait.

He looks almost as if he has a smugness about himself in the portrait, even after being ridiculed in his life its as if he know how he'll be viewed in the future.
His style of painting makes his art look so refined as if he has painted every individual hair on him. I like how honestly he looked at him self, he even painted every imperfection its as if he lives by Oliver Cromwell's philosophy of "warts and all".

Being a self portrait this piece was done by Van Gogh.

Van Gogh was born in The Neverlands.

He also lived his life as an exiled artist in The Neverlands.

I could not find a back story to his piece.

My first piece of Media work

Michelangelo

Michelangelo's self portrait.

Michelangelo's self portrait is a very detailed piece which shows his expression very clearly, after looking at this piece and thinking about it he looks almost disappointed with him self for some reason. the colour of this piece leans toward the disappointing nature.

Being a self portrait this piece was created by Michelangelo.

He lived for 89 years, he was born in 1475 and died in 1564.

he was an Italian artist and lived most of his life in Italy.

i could not find a story behind this image, but his expression makes me think there is a very interesting back story.

An Ever-Growing Wonder

Scott Ross,18
These are a few of my favorite things,
My favorite colour is yellow, it's bright and neutral, the kind of colour that could subliminally calm a person.
I don't really have a favorite smell to be honest, perhaps fried bacon?
My favorite "touch" as this so strangely questions, is the feel of Alpaca.
My favorite food (Chain)  is Subway, don't really see how i can elaborate on this one... i'll say, because i get to say what goes in it.
I don't particularly have a favorite animal.
My favorite Animated character(s), are Jessie and James from Pokemon. for the pure fact you just have to give them an A for effort... i mean the sheer persistence is inspiring.
I'm a big Lord Of The Rings & Harry Potter fan I've read each book from both series at least 3 times each.
I don't entirely have a favorite sentence, telling my girlfriend i love her would have to go first.
